Built Dakota tough, this dual purpose 12 Volt 30 Amp Hour lithium ion battery packs a big punch. Engineered with Dakota Lithium’s signature Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology this battery has twice the power, half the weight, and lasts 5 times longer than a lead acid or AGM battery – providing exceptional lifetime value. The dual purpose BMS provides exceptional safety, reliability, and versatility, giving you exceptional deep cycle performance for running onboard electronics, plus 400cca of engine starting power. Drop in replacement for YTX14L-BS and Harley Davidson touring motorcycle batteries. 400 cca is optimal for use in Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side by sides, generators, and other mid sized gasoline engines and provides 10X the number of engine starts of traditional lead batteries. Provides the option to jump start an outboard engine when used for deep cycle marine applications (for most boat engines we recommend the DL+ 12V 135Ah battery which is Mercury Motors approved). 30Ampere hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 30 Amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

M6 terminals (posts that screw in). 2 sided terminal block allows for side or top installation. When used in salt water environments we recommend applying a small amount of dielectric grease on top of each terminal after installation. It helps extend the lifespan. (Recommended Torque 5 ft lbs, Max Torque 9 ft lbs)

Up to 80% capacity for 3,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Avoid charging below 32°F.
30A max continuous, 400A max pulse (<5 sec). The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% bigger capacity than a 25Ah SLA battery. Please note: a single battery is only appropriate for trolling motors with <20 lbs of thrust. For trolling motors with 20 to 45 lbs of thrust a single DL 54Ah battery is required. Or you can combine two batteries in parallel to create a 50 Amp continuous discharge rate and 60Ah of capacity. This provides the amps necessary to run the larger motor, increases runtime and lifespan of the battery.
30A max, 14.4V recommended, 15V max. Please note: this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. A SLA charger may work, but will reduce performance and lifespan of the battery. Can be charged by ATV, UTV or powersports engine alternator (<30A output).
Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
This battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Dakota Lithium 12V batteries should be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid. Lead acid chargers will work, but will only charge the battery to 80% of capacity.
All batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, and train transport.
